Casey Cole White escaped custody on April 29, sparking a nationwide manhunt. He was facing a capital murder trial in Alabama and was already serving a 75-year sentence on attempted murder and kidnapping charges.

According to police, a female prison guard who fled with Casey White, a murder suspect, from an Alabama jail died after shooting herself as the pair was apprehended. Vicky White died in the hospital after she and Casey White were apprehended following a police chase in Indiana.
Recently the two went missing from a prison in Lauderdale County. They are thought to have had a romantic relationship.
At the time of his escape, White was serving a 75-year prison sentence for attempted murder and perhaps other charges. Because of his recent jailbreak, he is likely to face life imprisonment.
Casey White’s wife, children, and siblings are unknown, but his mother issued a statement to the media following his disappearance saying the accused murderer is innocent and not a villain.
