Seth Willenson, a New Line Cinema and Paramount marketing, finance, and distribution executive who gave Jim Gianopulos, Michael Barker, and Tom Bernard early career breaks and produced Allison Anders’ Gas Food Lodging, has died.
He was 74 years old at the time.
Willenson was also in charge of marketing the Warner Bros. family film Shiloh (1997), which was a box office success and inspired sequels in 1999 and 2006.

Willenson died at his home in Los Angeles on Friday after a long battle with heart disease, according to his family.
Willenson was married to his wife and together they had children but they are not in the limelight.
